When you enter, you will immediately see all active market questions.
Click Create to create a new market question.
Enter the Question
Enter the From and To dates (this is the period during which the question will be visible to the sales force).
There is also an optional setting to link the question to a Group. If the group already exists, it can be selected by clicking the arrow. If the correct group does not exist, type the name of the group in the field.
Then click Next. If any required fields are not filled in, you will not be able to continue.

In the next step, choose the type of response you want to use.

In the next step, choose the type of response you want to use.
Summary of response options:
Priority Question – A “mandatory market question.” These questions appear as reminders in the salesperson’s calendar. When the salesperson visits a customer with a priority question, the question will appear until it is answered and the Mark as Completed button is clicked.
Yes/No – The question is answered with Yes or No.
Price – The question is answered with a price; decimals are allowed.
Quantity – The question is answered with a number (integer).
Photo – The question is answered with a photo (to track responses, Argus PiX – separate software – is required). Hashtags can be used, e.g., to take a before and after photo of a renovation.
Custom – The question is answered using custom-defined response options, e.g., 1–5, 6–10, 11–15, etc. These are created in the Response Options field. The salesperson answers with one of these options.
Free Text – The question is answered with free text.
Multi-select – Response options are created in the Response Options field, and the salesperson can select one or more of these options.
If you choose Photo and want the salesperson to be able to attach hashtags to the photo, add them under response options.
Click Next.
In the third and final step, add the customers for whom this question should be visible.
Click the three dots.

Search for and select the customers you want to add. You can apply filters such as block, chain, customer category, campaign chain, etc.
You can also filter based on parameters from the Statistics tab in the customer card. In the example below, a filter is applied on Chain and Customer Category. To select all customers in the search results, tick the top checkbox. You can also select customers individually.
It is also possible to include inactive customers in the market question.

Another way to link customers to a market question is by using an Excel file (e.g., a customer list from Argus). Select the customer numbers you want to link and copy them.

Then go to Argus, click the three dots next to Customers, and select From Clipboard. The customers you copied from Excel will now be linked to the market question.

When the customers are in place, click Create.

The question is now created and opens on the right side of the screen. Here you can scroll through the question and add various options, e.g., whether it should be displayed directly on the visit page, if you want to add a tag and a color, reset the answer before each visit, etc. You also have the option to enter a budget.
To make the question visible to the sales force, you must release it.
Note: Don’t forget to save.

Adding a Budget to a Market Question
Click the market question you want to assign a budget to. Scroll down to District, or click the District tab.

Here you can enter the budget at different levels: the entire sales force, per region, or per salesperson. If you enter the budget for the entire sales force or per region, you can then distribute the budget to district level either proportionally to turnover or equally.
If you enter the budget at the sales force level and have “Distribute according to turnover” checked, the budget will be distributed to districts based on the turnover of the district’s customers.

If you uncheck “Distribute according to turnover,” the budget will be distributed equally among all salespeople.
You can also manually adjust the budget at the salesperson level.

Note: Don’t forget to Save.
Searching for a Market Question
Click the three lines at the top left of Market Question to access various filters when searching for a market question. Here you can also search for inactive questions.
Set the filters you want and click Search.

You can also use the Free Text field to search for a market question.

Deleting a Market Question
It is not possible to delete a market question.
The most common practice is to make it Inactive.
To do this, click the question and then uncheck the Active box.
